As much as I feel guilty about food miles, I saw these at my local Whole Foods & I could not resist. Bluefoot mushrooms (pied bleu champignons) from France. Who knows when these were picked.. but I wanted them – sauteéd in a sizzling pan of butter &/or olive oil, tossed with some gnocchi. Just wanted to share the revelry of these ethereal beauties.
